Explore Cairo beyond WUF12: City Visits and Urban Tours
From 5-7 November, 2024, a series of special events—Cairo City Visits and WUF12 Urban Tours—offers attendees an immersive experience with the best Cairo has to offer, blending cultural exploration with insights into Egypt’s urban transformation.
Cairo City Visits
Organized by Cairo Governorate, WUF12 Cairo City Visits showcase the city’s vibrant heritage through curated evening excursions.
These experiences offer a “kushari” of Cairo—like Egypt’s beloved dish, which mixes ingredients from different regions and times, these events capture the diverse flavors of Cairo. Participants can experience the Islamic marvels of Al-Moez Street, the artistry of ancient and modern pottery at Fustat Pottery Village, and a festive night of music at the Citadel Festival, all showcasing the city’s unique blend of history, culture, and artistry.
