Urban Expo

The Expo will highlight innovative and sustainable initiatives across various sectors including technology, materials, systems, and products. Over 20,000 participants are expected to visit the Urban Expo which will take place at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo from 4 to 8 November 2024.

Visit the WUF12 Urban Expo to explore practical solutions to tackle urban challenges related to housing, transport, energy, waste, and climate change. Over 140 organizations will host stands in Halls 3 and 4.

The UN-Habitat Arena – Hall 3 

Home is where the heart is – a place of warmth, shelter, and belonging. Each room reflects a different aspect of the home: from the inviting entrance to the cozy living room, the serene bedroom, the playful playground, and the nurturing pocket garden.

The UN-Habitat Arena will host official events and pop-up activities at the Urban Playground. 

The Urban Library – Hall 4

Explore the latest information and research urban and housing issues.

The library will also feature networking space and a publication exhibition featuring the World Cities Report 2024.

The Urban Cinema – Hall 3

The Urban Cinema brings a worldwide slate of short films exploring urban and housing issues and the cultural dimensions of urbanization.
