Wessam El Beih

El Beih is the Director of Drosos Foundation in Egypt since September 2014. She currently oversees Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon portfolios.

Prior to that, El Beih served with the United Nations in a number of positions including as UNICEF Chief of Global Fund Management in Somalia and Kenya and as UNAIDS Country Director in Egypt. El Beih is a medical doctor with a Master's Degree in Health Systems Management from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

She is certified in systems thinking from Cornel University, USA and has over 25 years of experience in managing development projects in the fields of HIV, Health, Gender, Education, and Entrepreneurship in the Middle East, North and East Africa as well as the United States.
