Gunde Odgaard

Gunde Odgaard has served as general secretary of the Danish Building Trades for 20 years. He sits on many Danish government committees on construction-related issues. He chairs the Building and Wood Workers’ International (BWI) working group on labour clauses in public and financing agreements, and through this leads BWI’s bilateral collaboration with the World Bank and other international financial institutions. He also chairs the building standing committee of the European Federation of Building and Wood Workers (EFBWW) and represents EFBWW on various EU committees and advisory boards. He is also a member of the High-Level Forum for Construction under the European Commission.
