Evaniza Rodrigues
Evaniza Rodrigues is a dedicated activist in the popular housing movement. She has served as a leader of the National Union for Popular Housing in Brazil and as a board member of the Habitat International Coalition. She holds a degree in Social Work from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1990) and a Master's in Architecture and Urbanism from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo. Her work focuses on key issues such as the right to housing, self-management in housing, the right to the city, social participation, and the social production of housing. Evaniza has also worked as a consultant to the director of Caixa Econômica Federal and as chief of staff at the Secretariat of Urban Programs in the Ministry of Cities. Currently, she is a parliamentary advisor at the Legislative Assembly of São Paulo and a professor at Insper's Women and Territories
