Showcase your urban story at WUF12

Lights, camera, urban action! The twelfth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF12) invites filmmakers, storytellers and urban enthusiasts to participate in the Urban cinema. WUF12 will take place from 4 to 8 November 2024 in Cairo, Egypt.

The deadline to submit works for screening is 27 June 2024 (at 23:59 UTC+03:00). Applications must be submitted through events.unhabitat.org

Selected films will be screened at the WUF12, reaching over 20,000 government representatives, urban experts, civil society members, and stakeholders. Submitted works have the potential to spark insightful conversations around the theme ‘It all starts at home: Local actions for sustainable cities and communities.’

Each Urban cinema session will feature a screening followed by a panel discussions or Q&A session, offering a platform to delve deeper into the topics raised by the films. Each session will last 45 minutes, hosting up to 60 participants.
