We have co-led and co-organized multi-faith pavilions at other UN conferences like CBD COP15 (2022) and COP28 (2023). Drawing on our experience we plan on working with global multi-faith partners and organizations, non-faith organizational allies, and local faith leaders and institutions to program a full schedule of talks, workshops, and other events at the proposed Faith Pavilion that showcased faith-based contributions to advancing the New Urban Agenda and local actions for sustainable cities and communities. There is, however, a chicken and an egg issue with planning. We cannot expend the time and resources to plan a pavilion with the many partners that will be involved until we have been approved to host a pavilion. We hope that our pavilion concept will be approved based on our past track record and experience, at which point we will work with WUF12 and our partners to develop program and content for the Faith Pavilion.
