Summary

Participants will learn about the SDG Cities four-track process, self-assessment toolkit, e-learning courses, and UMF geo-mapping & analysis. Digitizing these tools provides the program with scalability to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs.

Through lectures, demos, best practices and interactive activities, participants will leave the training aware on the SDGs and equipped to use the digital tools and courses to enhance their capacities to achieve sustainable urban development objectives.

Objectives

Participants will be able to:
- Recall the SDG Cities Programme track process and how their participation can contribute to global sustainable development
- Utilize the SDG Cities Self-Diagnostic Tools, City Scan tool, UN-Habitat Learn platform, and other capacity-building resources within their municipal governments
- Describe the advantages of need assessments and digital innovation in achieving equitable and accessible outcomes for all, thereby ensuring inclusivity in the pursuit of progress.
