Summary
Localising the SDGs demands addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges as one. The London Interdisciplinary School is pioneering a new approach to empower the next generation of leaders in this task. Showcasing work across policy localisation, just workforce transition, and indigenous climate wisdom, this session will demonstrate how interdisciplinarity can unlock new ways of working that engage complexity and promote sustainable solutions to interconnected challenges.
Objectives
Learn about the practical role of interdisciplinarity in tackling complex problems and enabling integrated solutions.
Understand the benefits and challenges of applying interdisciplinary approaches through a series of case studies addressing complex climate challenges.
Discover new ways of thinking, working, and collaborating to approach complexity in localization. Apply interdisciplinary methods to a diverse range of participant volunteered problems, building on the training in the workshop
