The main objective of the film is to share in an accessible way the multiple ways in which the practice of popular education through the practice of critical urban pedagogies opens new ways of crafting collective agency in the pursuit of more caring, loving, inclusive just and democratic cities.
Additional objectives include: (a) to encourage the audience to develop their own critical consciousness in order to effect change in their world through social critique and political action; (b) to critically understand how our own practices can tackle common struggles and seek to transform injustices; (c) to foster cross-regional exchange, dialogue and learning alliances to strengthen the role and action of organised civil society in the post SDG roadmap.
