Summary

Participants will be introduced to a strategic spatial planning cycle connected to 45 digital and non-digital tools designed to facilitate the just transition, including diagnosis, assessment, engagement, simulation and capacity-building tools. These tools have been developed within the framework of the Horizon UP2030 project by reputable research institutes, civic groups and SMEs and are being tested in 12 cities across Europe within a Spatial Justice framework also developed for this project.

Objectives

At the end of this training session, participants will:
1. Understand the principles of the just spatial planning cycle and the spatial justice framework.
2. Get acquainted with practical tools and methodologies developed in the project
3. Engage in inclusive participation techniques
4. Analyse case studies and real-world applications
5. Develop skills in co-design and collaborative planning using state of the art digital and non digital tools
