Summary

CiCoSA, an online action tool kits, 1 CiCoSA Handbook including research product, policy recommendations and good practices and 2. implementation guide, on waste wise approaches to sustainable building and construction in Sub-Saharan Africa. Kenya and Namibia are selected on the tool kit due to the importance of affordable housing, including SBC, on the national agenda and the engagement of UN-Habitat with these countries.Strategic Plan, Management and Implementation of CiCoSa tool kits in Kenya

Objectives

The training events aims at equipping its participants with skills and knowledge to:
- Understand and apply circularity and low carbon emissions principles to the building and construction (SBC) sector in Sub-Saharan Africa
- Engage Stakeholders and Foster Collaboration for the dissemination and application of circularity and low carbon emissions principles
- Disseminate good practices on sustainable building and construction practices
