Summary

This training session delves into the City Resilience Profiling Tool, enabling practitioners to build upon existing frameworks and adapt them to diverse contexts, contributing to more resilient, equitable, and sustainable cities. The event showcases this innovative methodology, which has been implemented in varying contexts globally. Through a dynamic workshop using Cairo as a case study, we'll showcase its adaptability and capacity for innovative resilience analysis and action planning.

Objectives

1) To gain a comprehensive understanding of shocks and stresses in urban contexts, mapping interrelationships, and assessing impacts on sustainable development.
2) Learn about using key performance indicators (KPIs) and participatory methods for decision-making in territorial/urban planning for resilience diagnostics.
3) Explore methodologies for envisioning future impacts and strategic objectives to build resilience, identifying and developing actionable strategies for desired outcomes.
